Entrée youth association

Entrée is the youth association of The Concertgebouw and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam. The association's aim is to make The Concertgebouw and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra accessible and welcoming to young people. To achieve this, the association puts on many accessible performances. In addition, members of Entrée enjoy certain benefits during events at The Concertgebouw and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.

Exclusive show

On 15 October 2015, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra performed in the Grote Zaal room in The Concertgebouw. Entrée organized 400 free tickets for the 400 refugees staying at the reception centre in the Dutch town of Zwolle. To make this evening possible, Munckhof provided the transport for the refugees from Zwolle to Amsterdam and back. It was a unique project for all parties involved. 

Lovely gesture

Entrée and Munckhof have positive memories of the event. Rosa van Dijk, the coordinator of Entrée, says, 'Thanks to Munckhof, Entrée – the youth association of The Concertgebouw and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra – was able to invite 400 refugees to a concert in Amsterdam. What a lovely gesture!'
