Munckhof becomes transport partner for Stichting Allegoeds

The Stichting Allegoeds foundation has selected Munckhof as its partner in passenger and holiday transport. For more than forty years, the foundation has organized holidays for elderly holidaymakers who require extra care, support and guidance. In 2015, Munckhof will offer door-to-door transport to and from all of the foundation's holiday destinations for senior citizens.

The foundation approached Munckhof following several positive references. 'Munckhof is well known within the market for its years of experience and expertise in the field of passenger transport and route planning,' says Jos Brauer, director of the Stichting Allegoeds foundation. 'This combined with several good references from industry partners convinced us to choose Munckhof.' 

Total package

Munckhof will take care of all transport needs on behalf of the foundation. 'In addition to the transport itself, we will also take care of communications for the foundation. We will plan efficient routes with a high level of traveller comfort and inform guests of the pick-up times. We will also notify travellers and the foundation of any transport changes,' says Tom Roefs, CEO of Munckhof.

Stichting Allegoeds foundation

The Stichting Allegoeds foundation organizes small-scale holidays for elderly people who require care. Most of these holidays are hosted by their own, fully-equipped group hotel in Lunteren, but some holidays are hosted by accommodations throughout the Netherlands. Guests of the Stichting Allegoeds foundation receive the care and personal attention they need while on holiday so that they feel refreshed and better able to cope with their situation at home. 'Older people enjoy going on holiday, but the possibilities for this are limited,' says Jos Breuer. 'The biggest obstacle for our target group is getting to the holiday destination. They simply don't know how they're going to get there. We're happy to have Munckhof as our transport partner, so our guests don't have to worry about a thing.'
