Successful coordination of transport at KLM Open 2015
From Monday 7 September until 13 September 2015 inclusive, Munckhof and its permanent transportation partners coordinated the transport to and from the KLM Open. The KLM Open attracted around 45,000 visitors over a four-day period. To transport them to the venue, Munckhof arranged twelve touring cars on Thursday and Friday and eighteen cars on Saturday and Sunday.
Transport for spectators and golf professionals
The spectators were picked up at the car park on Circuit Park Zandvoort and at the train station. They were then transported by Munckhof to the Kennemer Golf & Countryclub in Zandvoort. Munckhof also provided transport for the golf professionals, who needed to travel from the hotels to the Golf & Country Club. Maarten Reinhard, transport coordinator for Munckhof BusRegie bus transport department, explains, 'We have received a lot of compliments about the transport we provided. We were able to show how to efficiently arrange and manage transport for events. I'd like to thank all the drivers who made this possible.'
