Düsseldorf Airport hosts Munckhof clients

Last week, Munckhof and the airline company Cathay Pacific organized a special client event at Düsseldorf Airport. The purpose of the event was to give the guests a behind-the-scenes look at the airport and the airline company and to introduce them to Munckhof corporate airport transfers.

Düsseldorf Airport

Düsseldorf Airport has a fairly compact layout despite having three terminals. These terminals can accommodate all types of aircraft, including the Airbus A380. The daily processes at the airport were explained to our guests during a bus ride across the runways and a visit to the baggage handling area. It quickly became clear that the lead times at this airport are short and that the gates are located closely together, which means that you quickly arrive at your destination.

Cathay Pacific

From June 2015, Cathay Pacific will be operating four flights from Düsseldorf Airport to destinations in Asia. The airline company has four different classes available on its aircraft. These are Economy Class, Premium Class (which includes Business Class meals), Business Class and First Class. The level of service across all classes at this carrier is exceptional. During the event, the guests were allowed to take a close-up look at a Boeing 777 and they were given relevant information about the airline company and the many travel possibilities that Düsseldorf airport offers.

Corporate airport transfers

Following the informative sessions about the airport and Cathay Pacific, Frank Krebbers, the Manager at Munckhof Regie, gave an explanation about Munckhof corporate airport transfers. At the arrivals gate at Düsseldorf Airport, a clearly marked meeting point (Treffpunkt) has been set up. A driver will always be waiting at this specific point for corporate airport transfers. The design of the airport also means that the car will always be within walking distance. You don't need to worry if a flight has been delayed, as the Munckhof management centre monitors the arrival of the flight. The planning of your taxi will be adjusted accordingly.
